Abstract

1516845 Vapour release packages DRG (UK) Ltd 12 Sept 1975 [18 Sept 1974] 40695/74 Heading A5G [Also in Division B8] A pack e.g. for releasing an insecticide or deodorising vapour comprises a layer of vapour-supplying medium 24, a vapour-permeable layer 12 and two outer layers 10, 14 of impermeable material, the outer layer 14 adjacent the permeable layer 12 being peelably removable to allow the vapour to escape through the permeable layer 12. The outer layers 10, 14 may be of cellulosic film, polyester, or laminated aluminium foil, and the layer 12 of polyethylene, the layers 10, 12, 14 being heat-sealed together. The medium 24 may be an impregnated pad or sheet, a block, a powder or crystals.
