Abstract

1516685 Type discs SIEMENS AG 5 Sept 1975 [10 Sept 1974] 36567/75 Heading B6F A type disc 1 having type arms 3 is shaped as a truncated cone of angle 9, the print faces 4 being arranged at an angle less than 90 degrees to the axis of symmetry of the disc. The type arms have a varying cross-section so that the same bending stress occurs in each cross-section. In operation the disc is mounted at an angle 8 to the printing axis 2.
