Abstract

1514797 Dishwashing machines LICENTIA PATENT VERWALTUNGS GmbH 2 Sept 1975 [24 Sept 1974] 36163/75 Heading A4F [Also in Divisions B8 and D1] A liquid dosing apparatus for a dishwashing machine comprises a reservoir 2, a dosing chamber 3 with an adjustable piston 5 and a double valve 10, 11. The valve is controlled by a programmed control mechanism 13 with an electromagnet to open and close the valves 10, 11 simultaneously and oppositely. The position of the piston 5 is adjustable by rotation since it is threadably mounted. The reservoir 2 is filled by removal of a closure member 18 on a cap 17 to allow flow from the opening 1 to the reservoir along a channel 21. The opening 1 is also used as a discharge opening in normal operation. The apparatus may be mounted on the door 22 of the dishwashing machine.
