1513990 Boron-nitride based material INST FIZIKI TVER TELA I POLUPROVODNIKOV AKAD NAUK BELORUS SSR 7 Dec 1976 50949/76 Headings C7A and C7D A superbond material suitable for cutters, drilling bits, mills, saws and other tools consists of a solid solution of an additive material, which is at least one element from gpIII of the Periodic Table or boride thereof, in a close-packed modification of BN with the composition B 42-61 at % N 39-50 at % Additive 0À1-30 at % The material is made by mixing the components and pressing at 50-95 K bar and 1500-3000‹C for specified periods after compacting at 5-10,000 kg/sq cm and drying.
