1513984 Purifying hydrofluoric acid GOSUDARST N I INST TSVETNYKH METALLOV GINTSVETMET 25 Nov 1976 49270/76 Heading C1A Hydrofluoric acid is purified from H 2 SiF 6 and/ or H 2 SO 4 by contacting it with an anion-exchange resin in the fluoride form, followed by regenerating the resin with an aqueous solution containing 2-10% by weight of NH 4 F and having pH 6-9. Various methods are described for regeneration of the NH 4 F solution after its use for regenerating the resin.
