Abstract

1513465 Loop detectors INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 18 Sept 1975 [24 Sept 1974] 38361/75 Heading H4K A loop detecting arrangement for monitoring the condition of a line circuit CE includes an interrogation circuit CI which applies an interrogation pulse to CE and a reading circuit CL which receives the resultant output from CE and whose differential amplifier T1, 2 produces a 0/1 or 1/0 output combination on leads CS1/2 according to the looped/unlooped condition of line L g . The circuits CI and CL are multipled to a plurality of line circuits to form a scanning system. Each pulse combination output on leads CS1/2 hence relates to a different line circuit, and the condition of each line circuit is stored in circuit CS.
