Abstract

1513171 Hydraulic control circuits HALL AUTOMATION Ltd 12 Jan 1976 [20 Jan 1975] 2457/75 Heading F1P In the circuit shown, check-valves 12a, 13a are held closed by pilot pressure in a line 14a when a ram 1, 2, 3 is being operated by hydraulic pressure controlled by a valve 6. When the hydraulic supply is cut-off, the piston-rod I can be easily moved manually because valves 12a, 13a open to allow liquid to flow from one side of the piston 2 to the other through a passage 16. Plugs 15 limit travel of the valves 12a, 13a. The plug 18 may be replaced by a passage to a reservoir, or, if a pistonrod is provided at one side only of the piston, by an accumulator.
