Abstract

1513002 Terne coated strip or sheet steel ARMCO STEEL CORP 17 July 1975 [22 July 1974] 30052/75 Heading C7F Steel sheet or strip is hot dip coated with a terne alloy consisting of 2-less than 7% Sn and balance Pb and impurities and jet finished immediately on leaving the coating bath. Prior to hot dipping the sheet or strip is annealed, pickled in a solution of 8-15% H 2 SO 4 and 4-15% ferrous sulphate.
