Abstract

1512467 Wall system H NEUMANN 29 April 1976 [30 April 1975] 17554/76 Heading E1B A wall system comprises slabs 12 of angular cross section which extend longitudinally, end to end, and transverse blocks 13 set one above the other and spaced apart longitudinally, each of said slabs comprising a bottom plate and a facade plate extending upwardly at an obtuse angle or a right angle to the bottom plate. The blocks 13 have rebates 16 in which the bottom plates fit. The blocks may also have rebates on their upper surfaces, Fig. 9 (not shown), to accommodate the bottom plates of the next level. In a modification, Fig. 13 the slabs are formed as troughs which may have ribs 36 whose depth is equal to the difference in height between the transverse blocks and the troughs to enable stacking as shown. The transverse blocks are shaped to fit the cross section of the troughs. Corner and end pieces are also described. The transverse blocks may have threaded sleeves into which are screwed bolts to secure connector plates bridging the ends of two bottom plates.
