Abstract

1511675 Tractor cabs DAVID BROWN TRACTORS Ltd 22 June 1976 [27 June 1975] 27223/75 Heading B7B A flexible sheet 10 closes the rear of a tractor cab but includes side, upper and lower portions 15, 16, 21, 22 which each comprise at least part of a respective transparent panel 17, 18, 23, 24 and which are independently operable to gain access to the tractor hitch and implement controls. The side portions 15, 16 are secured to the cab by quick-release fasteners 14 and are openable outwards about their respective boundaries 19, 20. The upper portion 21 is attached to the remainder of the sheet by fasteners 44 and mutually engageable tapes and is rolled up after opening inwardly about its lower boundary 45. The lower portion 22 may be pivoted outwards about its upper boundary 26 by operation of one or two foldable linkage assemblies connected between the cab and a metal bar 25 along the lower edge of the portion. Each assembly comprises two interpivoted links 27, 29, an actuating knob 30 and means for holding the assembly in either an open or closed position. The flap 41 is independently operable.
