Abstract

1510874 Reinforced flexible hoses AEROQUIP GmbH 20 May 1975 [21 May 1974] 21368/75 Heading F2P Successive reinforcing layers 2, 3, 4, 5 of a pressure hose are made of equal bursting strength by winding them of cords having increasing tensile strength. To achieve this, the windings may be of different materials, thicknesses, or number of cords. The cords may be of steel or textile material, and are preferably wound at an angle of 55 degrees and filled with vulcanized rubber.
