Abstract

1507331 Access cover G C PLASTICS Ltd 31 Oct 1975 [14 Feb 1975 12 March 1975] 6239/75 and 10220/75 Heading E1G An access cover comprises a lid 10, made from heavy duty synthetic plastics material, hinged adjacent one edge to a frame 1 by one or more removable hinge pins 8. and the frame or the lid including a metal part to aid location. The lid has lugs 15 at each side with a channel 16 extending between the lugs which are apertured to receive the hinge pins 8. The lid is made of (reinforced) polypropylene or polyethylene, and the metal part is ferromagnetic, while the pins 8 are made of acetal or nylon resins, and the frame may be of cast iron or heavy duty synthetic plastics.
