Abstract

1506886 Removing waste products in industrial processes CLEEN-FLO (MANCHESTER) Ltd 26 July 1976 [29 July 1975] 31592/75 Heading F4X A device for exhausting fumes and dust &c. from a work station comprises a flexible concertina-type conduit 1 having mounted at one end thereof the suction hood 2 and at the other end thereof the suction tube 15 of a fan (not shown), a pair of telescopic tubes 6, 7 interconnected by a tension spring 16 being disposed within the conduit 1, the tube 6 being connected to the hood by a universal joint arrangement 5, 5A attached to the hood, and the tube 7 being connected by a swivel joint 12 to the suction tube 15. Air flow through the conduit 1 may be regulated by a swivel damper. 18 operated by a lever 19, and by axial adjustment of a tapered sleeve 21, Fig. 6, within the hood. (For Figures see next column.)
