Abstract

1506252 Hinge mountings BLUM GmbH 26 Feb 1975 [26 Feb 1974 1 April 1974] 8128/75 Heading E2F In a hinge of the type in which link arms are pivotally connected between one mounting component and an elongate hinge arm 1 secured to a mounting plate 4, the arm 1 is V-shaped in longitudinal section (Fig. 1) and comprises a lower securing portion 5 and an upper portion 7 which carries bearings 6 for the link arms; the two portions being relatively adjustable toward and away from each other, with an adjustment screw 14 effecting this movement. In the embodiment shown portion 5 is slidable longitudinally on an intermediate part 2 (when screw 11 is released) and the intermediate part is slidable transversely on the mounting plate (when screw 17 is released). In a further embodiment (Figs. 3, 4, not shown) the hinge arm attaches directly to the mounting plate by engagement between the sides (19) of the portion 5 and the plate; two apertures (20) being provided in the portions 5, 7 so that an implement can be inserted to effect relative longitudinal movement by leverage. A further embodiment (Figs. 5-8 not shown) employs the arm in arrangements featured in Specification 1506251 and 1506253.
