Abstract

1504561 Rollers; bearings D M GARNETT 9 March 1976 [4 April 1975] 13810/75 Headings F2U and F2A A conveyer roller comprises a sleeve 16, Fig. 2, having roller bearings 14 fitted in its ends, each bearing being removably-mountable in a cut-out in a support rail 10 by the provision of a groove 25, Fig. 4, and made of plastics race parts 20, 22 snap-fitted together at 42 to trap balls or rollers 44. The part 36 of the bearing is a push fit into the sleeve 16 which may be made of cardboard, plastics or metal. The support rails 10 may be made of flexible material to permit curvature.
