Abstract

1503904 Static mixers FOSROC INTERNATIONAL Ltd 10 March 1975 [11 Dec 1973] 57419/73 Heading B1C [Also in Division F2] The two components of a self-setting adhesive are mixed, prior to injection by a lance 14 into a hole in a substrate, by an inline motionless mixer 7 incorporating a series of blade parts 8. The components are metered in predetermined proportions from separate hoppers 2 by synchronous pneumatic rams 5. The adhesive may be an unsaturated polyester resin, emulsified in water or dispersed in styrene, and a peroxide curing agent with a low abrasive filler. Alternatively epoxy or polyurethane resins, or cement and water may be used.
