Abstract

The underrun protection for tanker vehicles is arranged on the rearside of the tanker vehicle (1) below the tank superstructure (2) and is designed as a transversely extending tube (4). The said tube is fastened to the vehicle chassis (3), is provided with a plurality of apertures (8) which can be sealed off and is connected via a connecting pipe (6) to the interior of the container. As a result of this, the underrun protection can be used in addition for filling or emptying the tank or the container. <IMAGE>
