Abstract
1502717 Synthetic paper MONTEDISON SpA 19 May 1976 [20 May 1975] 20586/76 Heading D2B [Also in Divisions B5 and C3] Paper is formed from fibres comprising polyolefine in admixture with a nitrogen containing polymer of surface are greater than 1m<SP>2</SP>/g. Cellulose fibres may also be present. The fibrils comprise polyolefine partly coated at least with the nitrogen polymer. The paper may be made on a continuous paper making machine, and dried at 100 - 110C and under a pressure of 50kg/cm<SP>2</SP> from 5 to 60 secs. The paper may be subjected to treatment with a polyacid e.g. an aqueous solution of polyacrylic acid.
