Abstract

1500182 Direction finding ELECTRONIQUE MARCEL DASSAULT 7 Jan 1975 [8 Jan 1974] 624/75 Heading H4D The Specification relates to a processing system for processing the four channel signals from a 4- sectored photo-electric detector produced by the image thereon of a target which signals contain information of the angular displacement of the target from the aiming axis of the detector. The processing system comprises a computer in which the analogue signal in each channel is transformed into a signal having a stochastic value, the stochastic value signals for all four channels are added to produce a sum signal, and this sum signal is used as a divisor for each stochastic value signal the ratios so produced being added or subtracted in known manner to provide two signals corresponding to the angular displacement of the target on orthogonal axis.
