Abstract
In a piezoelectric crystal resonator with AT cut, of which two contour areas (5a, 5b) exhibit a plurality of base lines in parallel with a z axis located at right angles to the electrical x axis and the two other ones (5c, 5d) are arranged at right angles to this z axis, their distance (z'0) from one another is 0.1 to 6-times, preferably 0.3 to 3-times, the maximum thickness (y0) between the two first contour areas (5a, 5b), measured along a thickness axis (y) at right angles to the x axis. <IMAGE>
