Abstract

1498945 Struts tensioning flexible building covering D A SALE 10 July 1975 [27 June 1974] 28473/74 Headings E1A and E1B A combined gutter and tensioning apparatus for tensioning a flexible transparent covering over parallel vaults of a greenhouse frame comprises a carrier 21 locating slidable arms 22 the ends of which are provided with releasable fixing brackets 26. The carrier having holding means for the flexible covering in the form of a gutter 24, to the side walls of which the covering is secured e.g. by battens not shown. The gutter extends longitudinally of and between adjacent vaults and the covering is tensioned by pulling the strut down between converging vault frames.
