Abstract

1496178 Biological treatment of waste water UHDE GmbH 12 Aug 1975 [14 Aug 1974] 33579/75 Heading C1C The concentration of odorous substances in exhaust air from a biological treatment of waste water is reduced by reducing the overall exhaust gas volume; this is achieved by a method which includes the steps of (a) treating with air in a trickle filter and, in a subsequent step (b) treating said water again with air in an aeration basin, the air used in step (a) comprising, at least in part, exhaust air from step (b).
