Abstract

1496101 Plate freezing apparatus SABROE KALTETECHNIK GmbH 26 Aug 1976 [29 Aug 1975] 35515/76 Heading F4H A plate freezer comprises superposed rectangular plates 1 guidable for vertical movement relative to each other by lateral guideways 2 with stops 6, each plate having two dependent guide rails 4 on its underside extending along opposite edges. The rails 4 support in use freezer trays 3 which are insertable between adjacent plates and have flanges or guide bars 5 to rest and slide on the rails 4. The height of the rails 4 is not more than equal to that of the trays to allow the trays to come into direct contact with the plates 1. Loading and unloading stations are formed by extensions of the rails or by securing rails to plates connected to the freezer plates.
