Luggage and like holders.-A compartment C' for receiving a spare wheel B is arranged in the side of a motor-cycle or like side-car body A and provided with a cover C, which is removable either from the top or back or partly from both. In the construction shown, the cover C is secured by wing-nuts E and joins up with the body A along an horizontal line D, access to the compartment C' being obtained from the top by raising the cover C vertically or by tilting it about a pivot F. The side-car body and the cover C are provided respectively with half-bearings K, L to engage the spindle of the spare wheel. In modifications, the line of junction D of the cover and body is arranged either vertically or in an inclined direction, and access to the tyre is obtained either from the back, or partly from the top and partly from the back.
