Drilling-machines.-A double-ended machine for grinding-in the plugs of cocks &c. is adapted for drilling by replacing the work-supporting centres and driving-forks by chucks adapted to hold drills, and the work spindle is arranged to rotate continuosly in one direction instead of reversing periodically as when used for the grinding-in.
