Abstract

1490642 Bearings SEA-LOG CORP 7 April 1975 [8 April 1974] 14110/75 Heading F2A [Also in Division E1] Bearing or roller assemblies such as 34 of Figs. 4 and 5 each comprise a roller 74 in contact with supporting conical surface 32 of collar 30 fixed to a rotatable sleeve 24. Each assembly is mounted in yoke 64 supported by dished springs 70 and the yoke suports shaft 72 on which roller 74 is journalled by pairs of tapered roller bearings 76. Fig. 6 shows an alternative arrangement in which the bearing support and drive for the sleeve 24 are located at the lower end of the sleeve.
