1488681 Ribbed sheeting; composite flooring REDPATH DORMAN LONG Ltd 16 Dec 1974 [6 Feb 1974] 5501/74 Headings E1K and E1W A ribbed sheet 11, preferably of metal, for use as part of a composite deck, e.g. for supporting and binding concrete 12, comprises a plane surface from which ribs are bent upwardly, the ribs being wider at a distance away from the surface than they are close to the surface, and each rib having a plurality of spaced projections 28 facing away from the plane surface formed as indentations pressed upwardly in the lower face of the uppermost portion of the rib, the width of these rib portions being less than the width of the soffit surface formed by the plane surface between the ribs. Indentations 27 may also be formed on the rib portions, and the plane surface of the sheet may have reinforcing embossments 30.
