Abstract

1486901 Toilet roll holders BOWATER SCOTT CORP Ltd 31 Dec 1974 [7 Jan 1974] 00727/74 Heading B8M A toilet roll mandrel 4 is formed of, coated with, impregnated with or contains a vaporizing substance such as a deodorant or insect repellant. The mandrel 4 supports a toilet roll 5 in a plate 1 having flexible brackets 3 which can be sprung apart to enable spigots 8, Fig. 3, to engage apertures 7 or slot 9, Fig. 4 (not shown). In a modification, Fig. 5 (not shown) only one bracket 3 is provided. The mandrel 4 may be disposable and made of material sufficiently rigid to act as a mandrel, provided with a central pin 11, Fig. 6, for supporting the roll. The tube 19, Fig. 7, may be of the vaporizing substance and is supported by a rod 17 within mandrel 4. The vaporizing substance may be coated or contained within felt or foamed plastics applied to the mandrel.
