Abstract

1485690 Magnetic-recording disc cassettes INFORMATION TERMINALS CORP 31 Oct 1975 45418/75 Heading G5R A double-sided magnetic recording disc 12 is contained in a jacket 13 of which each face has a central opening 22, a radial slot 28 and two symmetrically located holes 38, 40. These give access to the disc 12 from either side for respectively a drive spindle, a magnetic head and an optical sensor which detects the passage of a hole 36 in the disc. The jacket 13 may have further symmetrically disposed holes or notches for the control of a recording function, Figs. 4 to 8 (not shown).
