Abstract

148,445. Ges. f³r Drahtlose Telegraphie. Oct. 25, 1918, [Convention date]. Addition to 148,447. Electric oscillations, producing.-In order to prevent the production of undesired frequencies in multipled thermionic valve generators, due to internal capacity coupling, inductances are inserted in the connexions of the electrodes to the common conductors. As shown in Fig. 2, inductances 11, 12 ,13 of different values are arranged in the connexions from the anodes 2, 2<a>, 2<b> to the conductor 10. Inductances may alternatively be inserted in the connexions to the grids or cathodes or in the connexions to any two or all three electrodes. In a modification, inductances 11, 12, Fig. 3, are inserted in the common lead between the anodes or other conductors. In some cases the inductance of the connecting wires from one valve to another may be sufficient to produce the required result, but the connexions must not be of a symmetrical character with uniform inductance throughout the wiring.
