Abstract

1483714 Packing material CIBA-GEIGY AG 27 March 1975 [5 April 1974] 13118/75 Heading B1R A packing material unit having a spheroidal shape for gas purification systems comprises a plurality of rods 1 arranged substantially parallel to each other on a carrier perpendicular thereto comprising ring elements 2a, 2b and 2c and disc element 2d arranged coaxially with, but spaced from each other and having differing diameters. The rings are attached to each other and the disc by ribs 2e. The elements may alternatively be polygonal in shape.
