1483403 Container and closure assembly JOHNSON & JORGENSEN (PLASTICS) Ltd 31 Oct 1975 [2 Dec 1974] 51994/74 Addition to 1430302 Heading B8T The container and closure assembly of the parent Specification 1,430,302 wherein an insert chimney W is provided at the top of the container neck or the material around the mouth of the container has an arcuate surface when viewed in axial section so as to prevent damage to the closure during opening and closing of the container. Additionally, the entry ends of the thread sections on the container may have sections whose upper surfaces are inclined at 25 degrees and whose lower surfaces are inclined at 45 degrees to the horizontal respectively and the entry ends of the thread sections on the closure may have lead-in surfaces inclined at 45 degrees to the vertical. A sealing ring Y may be provided in the cap 9 at the junction of its top 11 and skirt 12 and makes an angle of 30 degrees to the vertical.
