Abstract

1481457 Windows and doors BOUSSOIS SA 2 Oct 1974 [29 Oct 1973] 42851/74 Heading E1J A closure unit for an aperture comprises a guide extending over the whole width of the aperture, an end portion 14a, 15a carrying a fixed panel 16a and being pivotable about a fitting 19, a stationary portion 2, 3 guiding sliding panels which may also be received in the pivotal end portion. There are pivotal portions at each end of the aperture. The sliding panels 1a, 1b move in respective channels in the guide and are positioned in the end portions to facilitate cleaning. Locks 21 secure the pivotal portions in the closed position. Safety latches 23a - 23d are secured to top guide rails 15, 15a, 3 and are spring biassed to prevent the panels sliding from the guide channels when the portions are open.
