Abstract

1481327 Terminals AMP Inc 23 Sept 1974 [12 Oet 1973] 41290/74 Heading H2E A one piece terminal 2 comprises a generally tubular portion 10, struck from the walls of which, and sharing a web 12 with, is tubular portion 22. In use a wire is forced into the seams via entry portion 18, seam 26 cuts through the insulation and connects with the conducting core while region 20 acts as strain relief holding the insulation. Different diameters of core can be accommodated by sections of tube 22 divided by shears 30.
