Abstract

1479488 Inhalant compositions SCHERING AG 24 June 1974 [23 June 1973] 27902/74 Heading A5B Inhalant compositions suitable for treatment of allergic disorders of the respiratory tract comprise a corticoid of formula:- in which -B-A- represents -CH 2 -CH 2 -, -CH=CH-, or -CCl=CH-; X is H, F or CH 3 ; Y is H, F or Cl; Z is -CH 3 -, -C(OH)H-, -CFH-, -CClH-, or -C(O)-; R 1 is H or CH 3 ; R 2 is H, or R 1 and R 2 together are an isopropylidene-dioxy group: and R 3 is a C 1 -C 12 hydrocarbon residue, in admixture or conjunction with a suitable carrier. The compositions may be in a capsule and contain dextran, mannitol, glucose or lactose as carrier. Antibodies such as chloramphenicol tetracyclines, penicillins cephalosporins. lincomycins, erythromycins and rifamycins, may also be present.
