Abstract

1477909 Tent D G SMART 30 Oct 1975 [13 Dec 1974] 54014/74 Heading E1A A tent has a demountable tripod frame 10, 11, 12 and three guy ropes 22, 23, 24 attached to the apex of the frame so as to lie between the adjacent frame members. One of the legs 10 is preferably longer than the others. A fly sheet is laid over the legs and is suspended by loops from the guy ropes and is held taut by attaching it to the foot 21 of each pole and to the anchor pegs as at 25. An inner tent 13 of pyramidal shape is suspended from the apex and lies beneath both the tripod and the guy ropes. The apex comprises a short tube 34 to which the legs are hinged, means 40 above to which guy ropes are attached and means 42 from which the fabric inner tent can be suspended.
