Abstract

1477274 Baby carriages MARBLE INDUSTRIES CO Ltd 25 July 1975 31294/75 Heading B7B In a baby carriage a carriage body 2 is supported on a truck 1 by connecting means 9, 13 which allows the body 2 to be detachable and pivotable with respect to the truck. As shown in Fig. 1 a lock nut 15 extends through the cylindrical wall of fixture 9 to engage a groove 14 in stud 13 to fix the carriage body 2. Release of the nut 15 allows pivoting of the body 2 about a vertical axis. Auxiliary supports 17 mounted on the body 2 are pivoted into engagement with stops 18 on truck frame 1. The carriage body may be of the chair type as shown or of a cradle type, Fig. 3 (not shown).
