Abstract

1476822 Excavator teeth assemblies; clamps CATERPILLAR TRACTOR CO 10 June 1975 [15 Aug 1974] 24875/75 Headings E1F and E2B [Also in Division F2] To clamp an earth-working tip 2 on a support member 3 there is provided for insertion into aligned bores in the assembled tip and support member a wedge locking retainer means that has a V-shaped bearing member 11a and at least one, preferably two, wedge shaped members 5a, 6a, which can be drawn together or moved apart by threaded rod means 21 to co-act with the bearing means to clamp the tip on the support. U.S.A. Specifications 1548374, 3219214, 3468210, and 3494245 are referred to.
