Abstract

1473829 Dispensing nozzle DRESSER EUROPE SA 3 May 1974 [3 May 1973] 17859/76 Divided out of 1473828 Heading A4T A fuel pump dispensing nozzle has mounted on its handle an array of seven-segment display devices there being one device for each digit of information to be displayed. As described the array is totally encapsulated in a transparent epoxy resin block 27 and a heat sink (not shown) is incorporated in block 27 in order to dissipate heat generated by the display devices. An array of display devices 26 may also be provided on the pump 23 and in a central station 25, information being transmitted over a link 24 in a time-division multi-plex manner. A segment failure warning arrangement may be provided as described in the Parent Specification.
