Milling-machines.-A portable machine is driven through a flexible shaft by an electric motor suspended from the person of the operator, and the base of the machine is elongated in the direction of the cut and on both sides of the cutter spindle. The cutter spindle is mounted in two pairs of bearings each adjustable by a screw g. The removal of four screws f permits the interchange of the cutter. A fan mounted in a casing k blows away the cuttings from the machine. A facing cutter may be mounted on the end of the spindle.
