1472687 Liquid treatment of endless material ARGELICH TERMES YC A SA 24 March 1975 [27 March 1974 5 April 1974] 12121/75 Heading D1L In the wet treatment of cloth in endless rope form by circulation through a closed vessel by means of a liquid jet, the vessel 1 is in the form of an elongate tubular storage section 2 connected via an elbow section 4 to an upper section 6 housing the oxerflow inlet 9 to return duct 8 incorporating jet chamber 14, the duct 8 passing beneath the storage section 2 and connecting therewith via inlet section 3, the cloth being drawn from the section 2 by a winch 13 located either in the upper section 6 (as shown in Fig. 2) or just above the elbow section 4 [Fig. 1 (not shown)], the winch 13 delivering the cloth either above the overflow inlet 9 (Fig. 2) or below (Fig. 1), liquid being drawn from the section 2 by pump 15 and recycled to the overflow inlet 9 or jet chamber 14 via heat exchanger 18. In the embodiment of Fig. 3 (not shown) excess liquid in section 6 is recycled to the inlet of section 2 via dwell tank 25.
