Abstract

1472107 Tables; furniture feet C CECCHETTI 21 June 1974 [22 June 1973] 27563/74 Headings A4H and A4U A table, e.g. for games, comprises a top 2 with a plurality of sockets 6 on its underside, a plurality of legs 4, one end of each leg being adapted for frictional engagement with a socket, and a plurality of base members 3 each of which is adapted to frictionally engage the other end of the leg to provide a slip-resistant floor-engaging member, each base member 3 also being adapted to be inverted and frictionally engage a socket 6, see Fig. 2 (not shown) to provide a slip-permitting surfaceengaging support. The sockets 6 have internal ribs 7 and stops 8 for the legs 4 and the distance of legs 4 in the sockets 6 can be adjusted to level the top on an uneven floor.
