Abstract

1469960 Fluorinated acrylic esters CIBAGEIGY AG 24 June 1974 [27 June 1973] 27943/74 Heading C2C [Also in Divisions C3 and D1] Fluorinated acrylic esters of general formula wherein R is a C 3-22 perfluorinated aliphatic hydrocarbon radical, which also includes #-H- perfluoroalkyl radicals, and R 1 and R 2 are H or CH 3 are prepared by reacting perfluoroalkyl epoxides or glycols of general formulµ or with acrylic or methacrylic acid, or with anhydrides thereof. R is preferably a radical C n F 2n+1 in which n=6-12. Amongst the examples the compound is prepared.
