Abstract

146,601. Astley, A. April 7, 1919. Fittings, internal; partitioned boxes; boxes formed of separate bodies combined in tiers - Bottles, jars &c. are packed in partitioned trays A, each bottle lying in a cradle composed of two flexible bands &c. C lying under it, and a third band C<1> passing over it, the last-mentioned band passing under wire loops C<2> on the partitions B and being arranged to buckle at one end so that it can be slackened or tightened as required. Wires or equivalent means F. E, passing through holes in the partitions, are arranged respectively at the front and rear of the bottles to prevent endways movement. Each tray may have its own bottom and covers, or several trays, together with a cover, may be stacked in a tier and enclosed within a frame, in the known manner.
