1465697 Razor blades WILKINSON SWORD Ltd 24 May 1974 [20 June 1973] 29275/73 Heading B4B A razor blade comprises a cutting edge, the cross-sectional shape of which being such that the widths between the facets 11, 12, or 13 measured in micrometres at certain distances 0 to 40 back from the tip of the cutting edge lie within a specified range, the included angle beween the tip facets lying within the range of 12 to 17 degrees of arc over the range of distances 40 to 100 micrometres back from the tip. The tip facets carry one or more coatings of metals, alloys or refractory materials. A final coating of a polymer e.g. P.T.F.E. may then be applied
