Abstract

1462183 Lamps ROTAFLEX (GREAT BRITAIN) Ltd 4 April 1974 [4 April 1973] 16182/73 Heading F4R A lighting fitting adapted to provide various types of illumination comprises a lamp housing L having an elliptical reflector 4 and a parabolic reflector 5, at least one of which is removable from the housing; a range of interchangeable supplementary fittings such as barn-doors, lens and filter holders, adjustable diaphragms and a motorized effects unit; and a plurality of extension rods for secure attachment to the housing so as to project forwardly therefrom and parallel to the axis of the reflectors, the rods providing support for one or more of the supplementary fittings. The housing L has four axially-bored lugs 7 spaced 90 degrees apart around its circumference, two diametrically opposed lugs receiving studs 8 for securing the reflectors and the other two lugs receiving the extension rods. A step-down transformer is preferably mounted immediately behind the housing.
