Abstract

1461911 Jacquards HIELD BROS Ltd 6 March 1974 [16 Feb 1973] 7717/73 Heading D1E A selvedge Jacquard has griffes 182, 192 operated by a pivoted lever 14, actuated (Fig. 1) by a crank, link and lever mechanism, the griffes having bars 183, 193 to positively return hooks 26, 27, which slide on guides 29, and are raised into engagement with nebs 186, 196 on the griffes 182, 192, by reading needles 10 which are biassed upwardly by springs 103 and are lowered, for indexing of the pattern drum 5 by a spring loaded cam operated lever 23.
