Abstract

1461898 Spray closure ROBERT FINKE KUNSTSTOFF-SPRITZGUSS-WERK 10 July 1975 [24 July 1974] 29118/75 Heading B8T A spray closure cap 1 comprises a top la and an internally screw-threaded skirt 16 made of flexible and resilient material preferably polyethylene or PVC. Between the threads and the top 1a of the cap is an annular beading 1c which can contact a radially projecting lip 3d on the bottle neck 3a so that the cap can only be unscrewed to a small extent. In the top la is an aperture 2 which, when the cap 1 is screwed home is closed by the end surface 3c of the bottle neck. In the embodiment of Fig. 2 (not shown) the radially projecting lip (3d<SP>1</SP>) projects radially outwards far enough to form a good seal between its radially outer edge and the internal wall of the skirt 1b.
