1461762 Metering apparatus FOSCOLOR Ltd 16 Oct 1973 [16 Oct 1972] 12569/75 Divided out of 1461761 Heading B8N [Also in Division B1] A metering device for feeding a measured quantity of a material from a source to a mixing device comprises a rotatable cylinder 2 with an opening 4 leading to a chamber 5 within the cylinder wall, the volume of the chamber being adjustable by the adjustment of a screw member 6 which extends through a threaded bore in the chamber bottom. The cylinder is rotatable by drive means between a position in which it receives material from the source and a position in which it discharges the measured quantity of material into the mixing device.
