Abstract

1460180 Dyeing natural protein fibres CIBA-GEIGY AG 10 April 1974 [17 April 1973 28 Feb 1974] 16036/74 Heading D1B Natural protein fibres are dyed or printed with aqueous liquors containing a levelling agent and a metal complex dye of formula: in which R 1 is hydrogen, or an alkyl, aralkyl, or aryl radical, R 2 is an acryloyl, acetyl or a propionyl radical which is substituted by one or two halogen atoms, Me is a chromium III or cobalt III ion and X represents hydrogen, nitro, chlorine, methyl, methoxy, acetylamino, chloroacetylamino or propionylamino, or the dye is transferred from a support by transfer printing employing a heat treatment. Black, brown and navy shades are obtained on wool and silk.
